Uncrowned has David Benavidez vs. Zurdo Ramirez live results, round-by-round updates, highlights, ring walks and start time for the Benavidez vs. Zurdo fight card on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the night’s main event, Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez defends his WBA and WBO unified cruiserweight titles against David Benavidez in a battle of two-division champions.
Ramirez (48-1, 30 KOs), a former super middleweight champion, became a two-division champion with a decision win over Arsen Goulamirian in March 2024. “Zurdo” defeated Chris Billam-Smith in the following fight to add the WBO title to his collection.

Ramirez’s lone defeat came at the hands of Dmitry Bivol for the WBA light heavyweight title in November 2022. He has won four fights since, including most recently against Yuniel Dorticos this past June.
Benavidez (31-0, 25 KOs) is the current WBC light heavyweight champion. He won the interim belt against Oleksandr Gvozdyk and was upgraded to a full titlist last year.
Benavidez formerly held the WBC super middleweight title on two occasions from 2017 to 2020. Last time out, Benavidez stopped Anthony Yarde this past November in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In the night’s co-feature, Armando Resendiz (16-2, 11 KOs) defends his WBA super middleweight title against Jaime Munguia (45-2, 35 KOs).

Some inside work from both. Good body shot by Chavez. Sanchez returns fire to the body. Sanchez is doing some solid work up close. Chavez is happy to fight him at that distance, but might be better off at long range.
A left-hand from Sanchez has Chavez off balance. May have been a balance issue, but Sanchez doesn’t think so. He forces the pace immediately after and connects with a good right uppercut.
Chavez finds a response. He is fighting the wrong fight. The movement really only lasted the opener. Sanchez scores on the inside again.

Two minutes left. Another uppercut connects for the Argentine. Hard left hook lands for Flores.
Flores knocks back Lucero’s head every time he lets his hands go.
Lucero almost touched the canvas courtesy of a power punch. And a big combination from Flores to end the fight. Lucero almost got stopped in the final few seconds.
They go the distance. It will spell the end of Lucero’s reign as an undefeated fighter and announce Flores on the world stage.

He has no problem catching Lucero with combinations and wobbling Lucero’s legs, and he continues to do it throughout the first minute of Round 9.
Lucero is so tough, but he is taking a career-changing beating as another uppercut lifts his chin.

Flores cannot miss walking Lucero onto the right-hand. Lucero keeps plodding forward and is eating a hell of a lot of punishment.
A pair of combinations on the inside from Flores. Lucero is getting badly wobbled now. Lucero will want to go out on his shield, but this fight should be stopped in the final minute of Round 8.

Lucero staggers back in the final minute as a reverse one-two scores for Flores.

Lucero is letting his right hand go now. It isn’t landing clean on Flores, but the activity is there. Nice right from Lucero lands to begin the second minute.

They are trading right hands in the final minute. Better work for Lucero but then Flores lands with a combination on the inside, and that seemed to trouble Lucero. Good finish to the round for him.

Some better work from Lucero. He is starting to work now. Lucero is still not winning it because he is consistently being countered and hit with rights.
