Prepare to get productive
The UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub Monitor is designed specifically for productivity, with Dell marketing it as a replacement for multi-monitor setups (an ultrawide offers a more immersive experience). The curved monitor is absolutely massive and features a resolution of 6144 x 2560, with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an ambient light sensor to reduce eye strain.
It’s also packed with ports:
- 2 HDMI
- 2 DisplayPort
- 4 USB Type-A
- 1 USB Type-A with BC1.2 charging
- 3 USB-C (data only)
- 2 USB-C with 27W power charging
- 1 Thunderbolt 4 (can charge a laptop at up to 140W)
- 1 RJ45 Ethernet
The monitor has another innovative feature up its sleeve: you can connect two different PCs, and the screen will split to show content from both. Dell is calling this feature Picture-by-Picture, and it’s as cool as it sounds. Built-in tools allow you to control all connected PCs with a single keyboard and mouse. Obviously, not everyone will be able to take advantage of this (or have a need for it), but for those who can, it’s a unique experience.
Gamers beware: this monitor might look tempting, but ultrawides can have drawbacks for gaming. In this case, the sheer size and slightly odd resolution might cause issues.

Dell’s not done
Dell also unveiled a smaller (but still massive) 32-inch screen at CES, called the UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED Monitor. This monitor is geared towards creative tasks where color accuracy is critical, such as photo and video editing. It features an anti-glare screen, a built-in colorimeter, and a variety of color management tools, and is DisplayHDR True Back 500-certified.
The UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub Monitor is available starting January 6 and costs $2,900. The UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED Monitor will be available starting February 24 and will cost $2,600.
