We’ve written recently about how to survive surging RAM prices. And one of the best ways to do so when building a new PC has just popped up once again! Newegg is selling a Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus Wifi AM5 motherboard for $109. Down from its usual $129, that’s not a bad deal on its own. But as long as supplies last, the company is throwing in a 16GB DDR5-6000 kit from Team Group for free. That RAM alone is selling for $129, making this one of the best deals we’ve seen this Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals season.
The Team Group RAM also isn’t top-end by any means. But it’s no slow slouch, either, rated for DDR5-6000 speeds (AMD EXPO and Intel XMP ready), which is actually the sweet spot for gaming performance on AMD’s current platform. Of course, 16GB isn’t great for a gaming rig that you want to last for years. But hey, it’s hard to argue with ‘free’ RAM when the stuff has been surging 500% lately thanks to AI demand.
